BBSHD for trikes

Last Updated: Dec 13, 2016 01:26AM UTC
There are extensions for everything. We have most of the extensions in stock, but it really depends on what you are looking for and where you are putting stuff. It's not the sort of thing where you are going to be able to just get everything you need all at once and expected to work right out of the box. You probably want to just get the base kit along with a speedo extension and a few of the extensions for throttle/brakes/gear sensor, and if we have it in stock display extension as well. If you are looking for a power extension typically you would wire that yourself although if you are using the BBSHD and a standard hardcase cradle it will have Anderson connectors on both sides and you can use an Anderson extension cable that are sold in many online stores like this one https://powerwerx.com/powerpole-connector-extension-cable

you will need to order 2 extra of the spacer kits and use all the spacers in addition to the spacers that are included if you are trying to use a 100 mm motor on what is most likely a much much smaller bottom bracket shell. Personally I do not recommend doing this, it makes a lot of sense to get the right motor to begin with because it will affect your chainline which may cause chain derailment when you have it in certain gears. The exception to this might be if you are using an IGH on the rear.

You will need pretty much every extension.

This has basic installation instructions, make sure to watch the videos https://www.reddit.com/r/ebikes/wiki/bbs_faq
